In our experience with small government and small businesses, even before Smilewhale's conception, we have seen plenty of good people wanting to share information but they think they lack the technology to do so. It is thought to make a good map you need to fork out a large amount of cash for a program, to make a web map you need to start thinking about servers, and "Jeez, how much time and money is that going to cost?". Our service does not require you to own any GIS server/database or ANY kind of GIS program/subscriptions. If you have the data and a vision, we will do our best to develop an easy to share map, customized to the needs of your consumer. Our team's combined background in GIS and web development gives us the know-how and gumption to deliver you a professional map that reads well and runs well on the devices your consumers use to view them.
McGillicuddy-Corrigan Agronomics
Working closely with John's vision for what his website should be, we designed and manage an already branded company's frontpage since 2016. After being satisfied with the new design, John wondered if his clients would use web-based tools to help manage and organize their agronomics data. Smilewhale designed and delivered a client dashboard for 150+ of MC Agronomics' clients, including several hyper-specific use cases for each problem the members could be facing. In addition, we maintain a monthly email newsletter for 400+ farmers and provide statistics on read-rates and clicks on requested links.
Example Frontpage - Pigeon Removal
All the information your customers want and need should be available without effort. Our example business displays a visually stimulating top header, followed by a description of the business and an outline of services. This mock business doesn't have hours listed, but offers clients a way to ask for a quote for their customized request. Links near the top of the page lead to other social media pages. This type of site could apply to those who don't want the hassle of updating the website often, but still want to be visible in search listings.
NoisyTin Photography
As an up and coming niche printing service on the internet, NoisyTin was looking for a specialized order form to allow them to print their customer's photos efficiently. Smilewhale delivered exactly that, automating several photo processing steps that were being done by hand, allowing their business to turn a 30 minute job into a 10 minute job. This ordering system, combined with our password protected gallerys, and a custom payment solution is used even when customers are present in person at festivals and celebrations around the country.
